Nottoway county residents are getting some help

Nottoway county residents are getting some help. Acting on a growing membership, flexible bill paying options, and a steady increase in smartphone users, Southside Electric Cooperative (SEC) has created a ‘Quick Pay’ app to help members on the go. The app also allows members to read co-op news releases, find office locations, and contact SEC via email or phone. And there’s an “Outages” tab to keep mobile members up to date about SEC outages as well as report an outage by phone. Members can download the app for free. Headquartered in Crewe, SEC serves more than 54,000 residential and commercial meters throughout southern and central Virginia, and say the ‘native’ mobile app will make members lives easier. For more information, log onto the SEC’s website.
