At tomorrow night’s meeting of the Prince Edward County board of supervisors meeting the supervisors will hear comments from the public about school board appointments. The board of supervisors will hold a public hearing at which citizens will have the opportunity to submit names of candidates they want to have considered for appointment to the School Board in Farmville. The two open seats are for District 101 and District 801 because terms will expire on June 30. The current holders of those seats are Linda Leatherwood and Dr. Lawrence Varner. A citizen committee will interview and consider all of the individuals who are nominated and express a willingness to serve on the school board.
