A Nelson County jury has convicted Randy Taylor on all counts in the disappearance and death of teenager Alexis Murphy. The News & Advance reports that Taylor sat quietly as the verdicts were read. The jury also recommended life sentences after convicting Taylor of first-degree murder in the commission of an abduction and abduction with intent to defile. Murphy, 17, from Shipman, has not been seen since last August. Her body was never recovered. A shirt of hers, with blood on it, was found in Taylor’s small camper. Detectives also found other minute evidence in the camper — eyelash extensions, a human hair, a fingernail and a diamond stud.
