A Crewe man is facing felony drug charges after leading police on two foot pursuits and a vehicle chase recently.

Crewe Police Chief Art Booth says 35 year old Elvis Aaron Green is facing possession of a schedule I/II controlled substance with intent to distribute, resisting arrest, and misdemeanor eluding police on foot from a vehicle among others. Police say he was intoxicated when he was arrested, and had several small baggies of cocaine in his pockets.

Booth says once the officer stopped the vehicle along 460, Green fled the vehicle into the woods and later came back to his vehicle which led to another pursuit, and later crashed the vehicle and fled on foot. The suspect was arrested in the 700 block of Eleven Oaks Road.
