You’re going to see some changes soon to the Southgate Shopping Center in Farmville.

Town Manager Gerry Spates told town council members recently that the Country Cookin’ restaurant has elected not to renew its lease for its current location. Spates says that CVS is planning to construct a free standing building in that location.

Spates says the former Roses building is going to be partitioned up into different sections allowing for different businesses to locate there. A retail and medical business are planned for that location.
