Barden, Hazel Bray 

Hazel Bray Barden, 90, died Wednesday in Farmville.  Graveside services will be Saturday May 18th at 2 PM at Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Cumberland.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery Association.  The Shorter Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.

Lane, Anna Ruth

Anna Ruth Lane, 86, of Farmville, died Wednesday May 15th in Farmville.  A funeral service will be held Saturday May 18th at 4 PM at the chapel of the Puckett Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Westview Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Saturday 2:30 PM to 4 PM at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Farmville United Methodist Church or to the Prince Edward County Volunteer Rescue Squad.  Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family.

Lango, Lenwood

Funeral service for Mr. Lenwood Lango, 73, of Dillwyn, and husband of Mrs. Florence Lango, will be Saturday 11 AM at Dillwyn Holy Temple, Dillwyn, with interment in Zion Baptist Church in Dillwyn.  Public viewing will be held Friday from 10 AM until 8 PM at the funeral home.  Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home of Cumberland in charge.

Newcomb, Irene Clay

Irene Clay Newcomb, 88, of Keysville, died May 17th, Friday.  Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday May 20th at the Browning Duffer Funeral Home, Keysville, with interment to follow in the Saxe Cemetery in Saxe.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-8:30 PM Sunday May 19th.  The Browning Duffer Funeral Home of Keysville is in charge.

Thaxton, Ballard Grant

Ballard Grant Thaxton, age 67, of Green Bay, died May 16.  A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville.
