This week’s Green Front Dog of the Week might look familiar…because she’s held the title many times before. Meet Coco, an 11-year-old terrier/plott hound mix who’s still searching for her forever family. 💖
The Southside SPCA rescued Coco from a rural animal control a while ago. While they love having her around, they’re eager for her to experience the joy of a forever home. Her SPCA friends note that she has an affectionate personality and plenty of pep in her step (so don’t let her age dissuade you!).
“It hasn’t been easy watching my friends find their families,” Coco says, “But I know my time is coming soon! Come meet me, please.”
Coco is a sucker for attention and loves her daily walks. At 44 pounds, she’s the perfect “go everywhere” size for all your adventures (and couch cuddle needs). While Coco doesn’t love our feline friends, she has plenty of love to give to her human companions.
“Cats aren’t my jam,” Coco admits, “But people are!”
If left alone in a fenced yard, she will climb over, so her ideal adopter should be ready for lots of leashed walks. If a life with this lady sounds promising, head over to the Southside SPCA. You might just meet your new best friend.
