Meet Matchstick!

Sex: Female 

Matchstick is looking for her match. This week’s Green Front Furniture Dog of the Week is a 3-year-old Beagle/Aussie mix who packs a whole lot of happy into 33 pounds. She’s smart, easygoing, and equipped with a grin that makes it very difficult to remember you weren’t planning to share your snack.

“I’m not begging. I’m just smiling very strategically.”

Matchstick is the kind of sidekick who’s happy to match your plans. Heading out for a walk or hike? She’s ready. Staying in for a lazy afternoon? Save her a spot. At 3, she’s past the puppy stage but still young enough for plenty of adventures ahead. Best of all, she doesn’t need to be the center of attention. She’s just happy to be part of whatever you’re doing.

“My plans for the weekend? I was hoping to copy yours.”
